Christmas eve at the main corridor 1998

Memory from Jannicke Mellin-Olsen

Many times I have been reminded of the first Christmas eve I spent on duty at the anesthesia-department in the Tower block. I had heard of women looking like a Christmas three, and thought: now I will find out just how a human Christmas three really looks like. This is one of the greatest things I have done at Christmas eve, ever. I went up in all departments and wished all employees and patients a merry Christmas. Many had a good laugh that day, including me. Luckily it was a quiet ward, but all the callings, the stethoscope and so on, where in place between the glitters. Now it is many years since I moved from Trondheim, but it still feels like my medical home. Merry Christmas to all of you!
